CNC Straight Bevel Gear Grinder
The gear grinding machine can consistently achieve a gear precision of GB5 grade or higher after grinding. It consists of eight main components: bed, rocking table, grinding wheel head, saddle, workpiece box, main drive, saddle feed mechanism, and hydraulic transmission system. The grinding wheel is secured to the grinding wheel head spindle; moving the grinding wheel head allows the grinding wheel to be adjusted to a specific position relative to the workpiece. The workpiece is secured to a mandrel mounted on the workpiece box spindle, using a hydraulic clamping chuck.
Rotating the workpiece box on the saddle allows for the determination of the root cone angle of the machined part, and adjusting the horizontal position of the workpiece box determines the workpiece's wheel position. Furthermore, in certain situations, the saddle can be moved forward or backward relative to the center position to meet specific bed requirements.
The machine consists of five drive shafts and utilizes the German Siemens 828D CNC system to achieve 3-axis coordinated motion control (including the swivel table indexing, workpiece spindle indexing, and saddle screw). Through a user-friendly grinding software package, the machine can automatically adjust itself. The grinding software is easy to operate and convenient to use.
The machine uses a mechanical correction device to process the crown and root trimming of barrel-shaped gears. It can operate automatically in cycles according to the CNC program, during which all processes are performed automatically except for loading and unloading the workpieces.
