Product Description

This gear shaping machine is an 8 axis, 5 link CNC gear shaping machine designed with a vertical layout. It features a column that moves radially along the bed for plunge cutting and a tool carrier that swings for tool retraction. The eight axes include: radial feed (X-axis), tool circumferential motion (C1-axis), workpiece circumferential motion (C2-axis), crank rotation (A-axis), tool retraction cam motion (B1-axis), table swivel (B2-axis), vertical movement of the tool slide (Z-axis), and stroke length adjustment (Y-axis). During gear shaping, five axes (X, C1, C2, A, and B1) operate simultaneously for precision cutting. Equipped with the Siemens 840DSL CNC system, the machine offers high functionality and high efficiency for complex gear machining tasks.

The machine's 8 axis, 5 link design enables precise and flexible gear processing. With functionalities like electronic helical guidance, it can machine helical gears without specialized helical guides. The CNC swiveling worktable further allows for processing small bevel gears and special tooth orientation gears, expanding its application range.

Designed for efficiency, the machine incorporates a hydrostatic guideway and bearing system in the tool carrier, supporting high speed operations of up to 2,500 strokes per minute. Additional features like the tool slide lifting function facilitate the machining of multi stage gears with the same module but different tooth counts in a single setup, significantly reducing downtime.
