Product Description

The GIV200 CNC vertical internal gear grinding machine is a high precision 5 axis machine tool, featuring a unique three axis synchronous dressing unit for higher gear accuracy. It can grind various gear types, including small internal straight gears, keyways, triangular, involute, circular arc, and face gears and clutches .

Ideal choice  for high precision internal gear rings, RV reducer components, and needle gear housings, it supports batch grinding and can be equipped with optional automated loading and unloading to boost productivity and ensure consistent results.

The GIV200B compound internal gear grinding machine employs vertical workpiece mounting. It features six AC servo axes (longitudinal slide X, profiling slide Y, column feed axis Z, workpiece turntable A, grinding head turret rotation axis B, and roller rotation box C), along with a high-speed spindle motor driving three SP axes: the internal grinding spindle (SP1), a cylindrical grinding wheel spindle (SP2), and a roller spindle (SP3).

 

Product Details

 

Workpiece Turret (A-axis): A high precision indexing head manufactured by our company, mounted at the right end of the machine's longitudinal worktable for tooth-cutting functions. Driven by an AC servo motor via a high-precision worm gear set, featuring zero-backlash mechanical transmission. Fully closed-loop control with a German HEIDENHAIN high-precision angle encoder enables arbitrary equal or unequal division with unlimited tooth count. with a resolution of 0.0001º.

Grinding Wheel Axial Travel (Z axis): This axis is vertically mounted on the bed base. An AC servo motor drives the reciprocating (grinding) motion via a ball screw. The slide employs high precision linear guideways. Maximum working travel is 500mm with a resolution of 0.001mm.

CNC Grinding Wheel Dressing Axis (Y, C axis): The Y axis serves as the axial feed axis for grinding wheel dressing. Driven by an AC servo motor via a ball screw, the slide employs high precision linear roller guides and a Spanish FAGOR linear encoder under fully closed-loop control. The slide has a max. working stroke of 60mm with a resolution of 0.001mm. The C axis is the grinding wheel dressing rotation axis, driven by an AC servo motor with semi-closed-loop control. It has a rotation angle range of ±90º and a resolution of 0.001º.

The machine tool's calibration and acceptance accuracy achieves:
- Grinding of involute cylindrical gear rings meets Grade 3 precision (GB/T 10095.1-2008) gear standards;
- Grinding of irregular profile parts achieves tooth profile accuracy ≤±3µm.
Computer-aided programming software is included for parametric programming.
The machine tool is equipped with an automatic gear meshing device.
