G350 6 axis 4 linkage cnc gear hobbing machine with automation for processing straight gears
The machine is equipped with an Electronic Gearbox (EGB), replacing the cumbersome operation of traditional gear hobbing machines with change gears and differential gears.
It features a fully enclosed protective cover and can be optionally fitted with an oil mist separator to reduce smoke.
The cutter spindle (hob shaft) is clamped and tensioned automatically by hydraulics and released hydraulically.
The hob spindle speed range accommodates both single-head and double-head hobs, allowing high-speed, high-efficiency hobbing of both large and small diameter cutters.
A-axis: Servo motor + reducer drives worm gear pair, enabling CNC automatic angle adjustment.
B-axis: Spindle motor drives helical gear with full-stage backlash elimination, supported by high-precision bearings, and equipped with overload monitoring.
C-axis: High-torque direct-drive motor + Heidenhain rotary encoder for high-precision indexing feedback, supported by high-precision bearings.
X/Z-axes: Servo motor + preloaded ball screw, high-rigidity bearings, square hard rails.
Y-axis: Servo motor + preloaded ball screw enables hob shifting, ensuring even tool wear and extended tool life.
Tailstock movement: Linear guide rails for guidance, hydraulically driven.

the loading and unloading rotary mechanism uses a gripper to transfer the gear blank from the conveyor or loading station to the machine tool worktable, and after machining, it transfers the finished workpiece from the worktable to the unloading station.

The machine supports gear cutting with a maximum module of 8 and a maximum workpiece diameter of 360 mm, ensuring efficient machining for various gear parts.
The loading and unloading magazine plays a key role in automation, storing gear blanks before machining and collecting finished parts afterward. Working seamlessly with the rotary loading mechanism, it ensures continuous feeding and unloading, boosts productivity, reduces manual intervention, and supports long-term stable machine operation.
The lifting mechanism raises the gear blank from the conveyor or magazine to the required height for the gripper or manipulator to pick and clamp. It effectively compensates for height differences between the conveyor and the machine tool, ensuring smooth transfer and precise positioning, thus enhancing the stability and efficiency of automated loading and unloading.
Machining of gear parts: spur gears, helical gears (shaft gears, disk gears), worm gears, small taper gears, drum gears, splines, sprockets, and timing pulleys.
The hob cutters and fixtures of the gear hobbing machine are customized according to the gear drawings and processing requirements provided by the customer. Customized hob cutters match the gear's module, number of teeth, and profile, while specialized fixtures ensure stable positioning of the workpiece during machining, improving accuracy and repeatability.
