CNC gear grinding machine
Introduction
Integrated with the SIEMENS 840DSL CNC system, this machine features thirteen numerically controlled axes with five-axis linkage capability. It enables fully automated control over critical processes, including grinding wheel auto-balancing, automatic tool setting, and autonomous grinding process management, ensuring precision and efficiency in complex machining operations.
Technical Features
1. Grinding Process and Spindle Performance
· Utilizes Shift Grinding technology, a specialized application of Creep Feed Grinding, designed for high-precision gear tooth surface machining.
· The grinding wheel spindle achieves a maximum speed of 7000 rpm, while the dressing roller operates at 3000-6000 rpm. This high-speed grinding and precision dressing enable efficient and accurate machining, significantly enhancing productivity.
2. Core Control and Drive Technologies
· Direct-drive electric spindle technology: Eliminates traditional transmission chains to reduce mechanical errors, improving transmission rigidity and response speed.
· Online dynamic balancing system: Continuously monitors wheel vibration and auto-compensates to ensure stability during high-speed grinding, minimizing surface roughness.
· Full closed-loop control system: Real-time position feedback via linear scales/encoders forms an error-correction loop, achieving micron-level (μm) positioning and grinding accuracy.
3. Intelligent Operation and Process Adaptability
· The interface is deeply developed based on the Siemens 840DSL CNC system, supporting parameterized programming: simply input workpiece geometry, abrasive properties, and grinding parameters (e.g., feed rate, depth of cut), and the system auto-generates machining programs.
· Arbitrary tooth profile dressing capability: The CNC system controls the dressing roller path to shape the grinding wheel into standard involute, cycloidal, arc teeth, or other profiles, drastically reducing reliance on operator experience for tooth profile design and dressing.
4. Axis Configuration and Automation Capacity
· Base axis architecture: The Y7232/36CNC standard model features a 9-axis CNC system (with 3-axis linkage) for complex 3D surface grinding.
· Fully automated upgrade: Adds 3 additional CNC axes (total 12 axes) and integrates a circulating material bin (loading system), enabling at least 1 hour of unattended continuous machining. This suits mass production, significantly reducing manual intervention and labor intensity.
The machine tool color can be customized.
